Adjunct, Part-Time, Modern Standard Arabic Instructor, Seton Hall

    Seton Hall University’s Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures seeks applicants for a part-time position teaching Modern Standard Arabic at the rank of adjunct instructor. The incumbent will be asked to teach one or two elementary and/or intermediate classes with possible tutoring assignments starting in the fall semester of 2021 and potentially beyond. Duties includes preparing lessons, lab sessions and interacting with students in accordance with the policies of the Arabic Program, Department and University. Native or near-native fluency required. An advanced degree and foreign language teaching experience is also required. Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. Please submit a cover letter, resume and arrange for two references to be sent directly to the Director of the Arabic Studies program at youssef.yacoubi@SHU.edu. Review of applicants starts July 15th, 2021.
