The Department of Languages and Literature at Benedictine University seeks a tenure track Assistant Professor in Arabic Language and Culture. Candidate must hold Ph.D. in Arabic and work with the Department Chair in developing an Arabic language minor, and eventually major. Candidate will also be responsible for arranging and executing study abroad experiences, and build relationships with universities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for language immersion and student/faculty exchange. Candidates with secondary fields in the humanities or social sciences are encouraged to apply.
